Why was the cop so nearby? I think something else had happened before this for security to be in striking distance. I bet the guy did it several times.
I hope he isn't hurt, but he deserved to get embarrassed and arrested.

I'm almost always against the cops in these threads but I think this was justified. I don't think the takedown was really that bad, especially for a very drunk male throwing things at people.

There is a comment by the poster of the video he had 60 seconds of footage. So I'd say yes, something else likely happened. Like the cop told to knock the shite off and then walked away but was still keeping an eye on him.
