Go to shoppers choice on coursey by chimes (or call them if you're out of BR) and tell them your budget (for appliances and doors/drawers only) and they'll work with you to stay in budget, give discounts or even throw in free doors and drawers to make the sale.

Go to Shopper's Choice and walk around -- you'll get great ideas. I just built my new house with outdoor kitchen. Everything came from Shopper's Choice. We are lucky in BR to have this store here!

If I knew how to share photos I would but alas...I mostly lurk here so I don't have a clue.

To answer your question though, yes, you can do that on 15k. We tore down our old deck, more than doubled the size, extended the roofline, screened it in, and added an outdoor kitchen (we built the cabinets ourselves out of pressure treated wood, stained the same color as the deck). To the kitchen we put in a granite countertop and added a large commercial grade griddle, a grill, a green egg, a sink and a small fridge. We also added additional can lights, ceiling fans and an exhaust fan above the egg. A flat screen tv, outdoor furniture and rugs plus a heater and a propane fireplace makes it a place we literally live in more so than out indoor living room and kitchen.

If I ever figure out how to post pics, I will. Good Luck!

See if this works

ETA: the first pic is before. And no, it didn't take me 4 years. I have been here for more than 6. I think I have posted about 4 times.

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but do you have trouble with smoke with such and enclosed space like that?

And Will Cover, this shite is awesome.

No problemo, amigo. So it was 15K to add on to the existing deck, or is that 15K for deck + enclosure and appliances?

We have no issues with smoke. It's pretty open AND, like I said, we added an exhaust fan above the Egg. We have a total of 3 ceiling fans and an outdoor tower fan too if we need it.

We spent roughly $15k. That doesn't include the grill or the Egg since we already had that. Already had the tv too. Moved one from inside out and bought new for inside.

Here's one I did, like others have said, the lights made a huge difference. I had can lights on different switches (all dimmable) and added rope lights in the crown moulding pocket that I made.

@OP, where is the house located? Do you plan to do it yourself? Or getting contractors involved?

ETA: I'm also looking at doing something similar in St. Tammany over the next few months. Currently trying to find a good designer and contractor.

Very important.

I can't tell you how many times I have watched my friends and family allow their contractor, who may or may not have the technical skill set and/or creativity, to design their outdoor space for them.

They'll spend $15K + plus, but won't spend $1000 to $2000 with a professional landscape architect.

Could you give me some details? I'm looking at doing about 10' by 24', with maybe 12x10 covered. That would basically increase the size of my existing patio by 2.5x.
