I agree.
Wrought iron is the way to go.

I built all of mine out of discarded pallets found at oil rigs

It's quite trashy but it holds me and my beer

I was looking at some swivel chairs for our balcony. A set of two with a tiny arse table was $700+. Pretty ridiculous.

Poor people shouldn't be sitting outdoors. Only rich people should be able to afford outdoor furniture

It is crazy. Especially down here where the sun is going to bleach and scorch anything you have. No matter how well made.

So stupid. It would be nice to have that but way too pricey. I just bought $15 plastic Adirondack chairs for my sorry arse backyard. Works fine.

Anything that appeals to women in order to impress neighbors is going to be expensive

You get what you pay for.

If you buy cheap shite it looks like cheap shite after one year. If you buy quality shite it lasts for years.

Add a pool and outdoor kitchen to this as well and then come talk to me.

I think the best is to go with wrought iron and repaint it as necessary. With half decent care it will last forever.

We went cheap at first and that shite fell apart in no time. Spent decent money on our current set and it's well worth the investment.

I agree the prices are stupid though.

Nah. Poor people just take rich people's indoor furniture when it's at the curb, and use it as outdoor furniture.

Only time to buy that shite is close to fall when it all goes on clearance. Then it's a halfway decent deal. The margin on most of that crap is sky high.

In college I had my Weber Smokey Joe out on my balcony sitting on one of those smaller spools.

Grilled nearly every night year round.

I wish our outdoor furniture cost $1200. 4 sunbrella fabric swivel chairs ran us about $5k. Then you need a table and rug. shite is dumb expensive.
