These idiots got their feet in the door with the formation of the BERT organization. Now they're using that to force more administrative changes that benefit their broader political purpose and turn the university into (more of) an indoctrination center.
And it will work, too, partially because a lot of these school administrators agree with the shift and will happily cave when these situations are orchestrated, which every one of them is.

That’s because they’re not using it correctly. A hunger strike is supposed to be opposition to a forced action. That way it shows the disdain for taking that act, in that you’d be willing to starve to death before you took said action.
It’s not supposed to be used to get someone to do something. Especially, if the group you’re trying to move on something actually doesn’t like your group. You would actually be doing them a favor at that point.

Entitlement much? Have they never heard of a library, study carol, library meeting space, and a frick'n Popeye's located just off campus? They should let 'em starve. That won't last long. They aren't built to actually sacrifice for any period longer than two meals..... Once their latte caffeine high wears off they will get up and leave.
