I've been both. I hated being number one.
Now I'm 325lbs and am fat. Still strong, but fat.
There is a certain confidence that comes from body size 2 that you don't get from one.
We had a thread a few months ago concerning carrying a keg in each hand into a party. It might sound silly, but when a woman sees you hand the two off to two guys and they can't carry them, it's a panty dropper.

That is not what you said. You said neither the strongman/bodybuilders do much of either. I can guarantee you that top tier body builders get close to an hour of cardio 5 times a week at a minimum. I don't know your definition of "much" but that's "much" to me. I know I'm coming off like I'm defending them but I'm just informing.
that is not much to me.
at the end of the day, we're sitting here arguing over keyboard semantics. Basically we're arguing for no reason at all.
I've been both...bodybuilding and crossfitter. Both have positives and negatives. With crossfit, I was in great shape. Could do everything and an above average rate...running, lifting, rowing. But, you burn too many calories to pack on muscle at an efficient rate.
With bodybuilding you require more discipline. You eat six times a day, sleep more, always change workouts, but, you do pack on muscle and have a more aesthetically pleasing body.
To each their own. I loved both and love working out. I love seeing others work out.

Or just any balanced workout program.

To the vast majority of the population it is.

Ill agree that you probably wont see many guys deadlifting 700+ with a 32 inch waist but the guys with the beer guts are neglecting their diet.

What I've learned through 6 years of marriage and being with the same woman for 14 years is that in a relationship where both people work, women control 50% of the family's income, but 100% of the pussy.

Yes and no.
He can run up ten flighys of stairs without getting winded, I will be einded walking up them, but I can carry two of him up those same stairs.
He can beat me to a foot race to the tractor and hang from the top of the cab doing pull ups, but if ol' baw backs up to the 8ft 1inch scoop blade crooked, can he maneuver it into position?
I got strong out of necessity; I got defined for pussy; I got bigger to be able to defend myself; and I got fat because I stopped doing cardio and kept eating 3500 calories a day.

Your heart doesn't wanna work that hard.
