Mostly agree, but disagree with both as a workout program promoting fitness.

I'm not worried about what other people do.

I have my priorities in order for 2016.

Well there's a difference between a 240lb guy and a 240lb guy that looks like the powerlifter in the op. I'm 230lbs and my best is 225 x 31(bout 3 months ago). This is at 35 years old and natural. You can be thin and out of shape you know...

225 thirty one times is damn strong at any age/weight.

The drug free part is what I respect.

I'd rather be A than B all day. Why do 90% of guys workout anyway? To look good nekkid, for the ladies. I don't really care if I don't have brute strength to lift an ox over my head..I have an office job at a desk, why do I care what my bench max is? I'd just rather look more appealing to the opposite sex.

I mean, I guess.

However, I will say that a crossfitter type body is more functional than both of those body types. (and I don't crossfit)

Whatever you have to say to yourself at night to convince yourself you're better than the next guy I guess...

at the end of the day, do what makes you happy, quit bitching about what others do, quit comparing via jealousy and just do you.

Both of the examples are stronger than the op and stronger than whoever made the pic

The top tier of "crossfit competitors" have traditional workouts. Don't let their bodies fools you into thinking they got it from crossfit.

I used to be that way. I'm naturally strong, so I had the same mind set.

I'm lifting again because it feels good mentally and physically.

One of them goes to the gym and jacks some fricking steel. The other one preens and prances in front of the mirror, practicing his "poses", talks non-stop about "shows", and carries his huge duffel bag and gallon jug of water all over the gym instead of parking it out of the fricking way somewhere.

Say that to Kai Green's face. You wouldn't last 5 minutes into one of his workouts.

of course I know they do. (I guess I don't really see what you;re alluding to with your response)

They are also on hormones like every other professional athlete.

But, they are also mixing cardio in with their workouts. Neither of the strongman/bodybuilder do much of either.

You have no idea what you are talking about. You think a bodybuilder can look the way they do without cardio? Juice only takes you so far.

just a way for others to put down someone's talents while promoting their own masculinity.

Truth is, no one here could put in the workouts that Phil or Kai do on a daily basis. That's why they are the best.

I'm glad you think that. If you want to throw insults, please go back and read my post. I never stated they 'never' do cardio. I implied they aren't on the same playing field as far as cardio goes.

Work on your reading comprehension before arguing. I don't know why you're being sensitive on the subject.

Give me a crossfitter to run long distance any day of the week.

Get a 7 figure net worth, dress well, and have a great sense of humor. You can look like Yoda and you'll get more pussy than you know what to do with.

I learned a long time ago that you have to work out for yourself, because most women don't care that much. Or maybe they do, but a lot of other things are more important to them.

That is not what you said. You said neither the strongman/bodybuilders do much of either. I can guarantee you that top tier body builders get close to an hour of cardio 5 times a week at a minimum. I don't know your definition of "much" but that's "much" to me. I know I'm coming off like I'm defending them but I'm just informing.
