I'll workout the rest of the week and give my joints a two week break. They definitely need it.
Picked up a Jawbone UP to try out. It uses an accelerometer to monitor motion and estimate calories burned. It syncs with an app on your smartphone to show you the data.
It also monitors sleep and tries to give you a breakdown of your time awake, deep sleep and light sleep.
..and you can set alarm and alerts with it via a soft vibration. More info on the Jawbone UP
