I have a question about ghosts

When people talk of seeing ghosts they always describe what the ghost was wearing. But why would a ghost be wearing any clothes at all? How do clothes travel with you in the afterlife?

Why doesn't anyone ever see caveman ghosts? Surely they are out there.

In Houston, a woman cleaned for me for about four years.
One Saturday, she just said, "I wonder why we don't see many ghosts any more".
I had no answer.
Several weeks later she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

My friend when he was alive was one of those ghost investigators.
Around 15 years ago I got one Facebook and he posted a picture of a teenaged girl asking if anyone knew who she was. He had been at a house the night before doing an investigation.
The girl looked familiar but I didn’t think of it. A couple of days later I asked my friends who are married if they saw it.
They said you don’t know who that was, and I said no. It was our mutual friends daughter who died in a car wreck before I met her.
My friend who posted the picture didn’t even know my friend whose daughter had died in the wreck. He played the audio recording from that night and it was creepy.

Bc ghosts aren't real and people who say they see them are either lying or mentally ill.

This is what I always assumed.
I dont think it's weird people describe that they see them in clothes. It's just stating how vivid the image was to them.
