At first I hated the design (cross between truck and SUV). But then I started doing more research and discovered that the Ridgeline is the only truck to offer this awesome feature - the truck trunk:

People who own these trucks absolutely LOVE them which has led me to consider purchasing a slightly used Honda Ridgeline:

I'd buy it for my wife in a heartbeat.

it's good for what it is (a cross between a truck and an SUV). You need to buy a used one because production was paused, right?

It's one of the oldest designs on the market now, and they don't sell very many anymore. I'd wait for the new model due next year if you must have a Honda pickup truck.

Nice vehicle but I wouldn't call it a truck.

A ridgeline isn't a true truck, but it will work for someone who doesn't need to haul much, but occasionally needs to throw something in the back.

It's a truck.

Haven't you ever seen a Ford Explorer SportTrac or the Chevy Avalanche? It's basically the same thing except its made by Honda.

I guess if you wanted you could call it by its technical marketing term which is a sport utility truck.

Technically both of those had a body-on-frame chassis. The Ridgeline is based on the Odyssey minivan.

I thought it was based off the Pilot? Do those share the same platform?

Like i said, mostly a marketing term though I guess it comes from the fact that all those short bed trucks seem to be based off of SUVs.
