Male lions will eat buffalo dung because it is loaded with testosterone. Testosterone makes a lion's mane dark. So, if you ever see a lion with a dark mane, he is one bad mutha.

In the bulk season I just use whey from Walmart (Body Fortress).
Get my glutamine from the Vitamin Shoppe (no set brand really)
Dextrose from Sam's
Show ready season
Isopure Whey
Any glutamine
and usually and test booster that has a hardening agent like A-HD
no dextrose

What does dextrose do which makes you eliminate it for shows?
Posted on 2/19/15 at 12:19 pm to SabiDojo
Dextrose is just a sugar, made from corn.
Dextrose, Maltose, Sucrose, Sucralose... all sugar, just made from corn instead of cane
Sugar is an empty calorie, which can/will store as fat if not used.
The dextrose is nothing but and insulin boost post workout. and some people say it helps deliver the proteins to the muscle faster (not sure)
When I'm getting ready for a show, I cut out the sugar to reduce the chance of fat gain/empty calories since I am on a calorie restricted diet, usually a keto diet...which you are not supposed to have sugar in anyways

People are too hooked on supplements. This whole "you won't get results without a billion grams of protein and pre workout and this and that" is a load of crap. They have their use, but you can have good results without them and they are nothing without hard work to go with them
Work on getting into a regular diet and exercise program and becoming committed to that before you drop money on overpriced shite that your bro beans is on. Sounds to me you want to lose weight. If that's the case then run more and eat better, the weight will fall off of you if you do it right and then worry about looking like Arnold.

I drink a shake when I get home, then a meal that normally consists of turkey/chicken, a sweet potato, and a vegetable 30 minutes to an hour after my shake. With that and eating salads at lunch, I've leaned out a bit and maintained my weight...I guess that's results? Results are relative to your goals, obviously.

It goes back to genetics...try it and see how it works for you. Some people (like Jay Cutler) can down massive amounts of sugar post workout and it helps them lean out. Others can't process the carbs as well and get chubby. See what your particular body type can handle. Your friend sounds like he means well but he's probably only speaking from his own perspective

That is the goal. Even when I'm not dieting, I still usually make time for lifting, so the mass is there. The only supplement I use is Whey protein for a meal replacement in the morning or post workout.
Definitely not trying to build a ton of mass. At my lightest when I ran and worked out all the time I was about 178, but my ideal weight would be between 180 and 190. 200 is my short term goal, with the last ten or so pounds to be more long term.

Soy in normal quantities does nothing to males. Well at least not what you're trying to say it does.
