Preface - I am NOT a photographer and no way am I capable of taking some of the ridiculous pics in this thread! Anyway, I took this sunrise with a crappy camera in Cabo San Lucas in October 2012. I can only imagine what it would look like with a "proper" camera and some Photoshop. Nothing here was modified.

That's a pretty neat photo. It's almost like you could flip it over, and it'd be a completely different picture. Two-in-one. Nice.

I love these types of photo threads. It's like reading a calming storybook. (And I have absolutely no photo-taking talent haha)

Some nice photos in here. This thread made me go through and upload some more stuff.

And of course, fitting for the forum.

Some top-notch photos in here.

I just picked up a Nikon D3200 (ballin' on a budget) and hope to learn how to really use it before heading to Europe in a few weeks.

If like to hear more about your travels.
Do you work for the food/travel channel or national geographic?

Canadian Rockies about half way up from Banff to Jasper. Prettiest drive in the world.

Haven't uploaded any of my recent adventures on Flickr recently. Maybe I'll get around to it while this thread is still going.

I've got a small selection on Smugmug. See the link below:

LINK

Smugmug is blocked on my work computer for some reason, so let me know if there is a problem with the link.

And thanks for the compliment. Like seemingly most others in this thread, I'm just an amateur who likes traveling and taking some pictures. I enjoyed what everyone else had to share - there are some great shots posted in the thread - so I thought I'd chip in as well.

Going to Jackson Hole, Yellowstone and Glacier this summer. I know Banff is right there, so we are thinking about adding that on. I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to stuff like this. I obsess over it and Banff/Canadian Rockies is super high on my list of places to see.

Saw them. They are fantastic. Are you shooting your night shots from a tripod?
