Like I said earlier, I know some upper class white people up here that truly seem as if they would be disappointed if their kids do not bring home someone of another race. It's very odd.

My son (17) dated a mixed girl (white/AA) for about six months last year. She was great, a straight A student, extremely well mannered. I don't think that it would have lasted long term because the culture gap was too wide, but I had no problem with him dating her.

I've actually never gone black, not for lack of trying though.
Hooked up with a couple Indian chicks (hippy chicks, not nerds) and a Pakistani girl that was darker than most black people. The Pakistani girl was reallly hot, but after we hooked up she nonchalantly let it slip she hooked up with Diplo. I got checked a few times after that for crotch rot.
Made out with a black chick and had her dead to rights on the way to a late night in college and threw up in the cab. Never forgive myself

Evaluated their character and either ran them off or left it to my daughters.
Not that many Cherokee around, so getting someone different was pretty much a given for them.
