My daughter is only 9 months, but sometimes when I'm holding her, she will just be staring at a corner or something and then just have this creepy smile like this she see something. And now she is starting to wave.
Creeps me the frick out.

You shouldn't have spent all that time beyond the veil

Anyone else dealt with this sort of thing?
My 5 year old informed my wife when we moved into our new house two years ago that the Lady didn't follow us. When she inquired as to what he was talking about it he said there was a Lady at our prior residence that use to live in his room. Kids see and hear shite that I can not explain.

She didn't seem to be bothered by it, although she has been complaining of being "cold" lately and wanting me to "hold me tight tight daddy."
I don't think she's scared.
Not to alarm you but there may be more to this than just imagination. You may want to go talk to a priest.

Has she been exposed to ghosts through the media without my knowledge, and that is why she can talk about it with seeming familiarity?
This is your answer.

A little of this should fix her right up.

A former co-worker told me about an experience they had with their daughter. The old grandparents' home was kept in the family and used for family gatherings. Their daughter would go in the back room and play with an imaginary friend. One day she asked her daughter who she was playing with, and her daughter said, "Grandpa!". So she asked her daughter to describe him, and she did describe him down to the detail.
Nothing unusual right? Well, except that he had died before their daughter was even born, and there were no pictures of him up anywhere.

Aren't adolescent children more accepting of this kind of behavior? I feel like i read a long time ago that at that age our brains are more open to seeing imaginary beings.

I'd never told him this and how he knew I was afraid to ask.
It is likely someone else told him or it is a dangerous area and he recognized that and made the connection.

I swear everyone has this story

I've thought about that as well. Maybe she's got what I've got.

No experience raising kids so take my advice with a grain of salt. Kids do weird shite. Their mind wanders and they'll imagine anything under the sun. She may not have picked it up from you, or her immediate environment. But it's hard in today's age to NOT have her pick up on something like ghosts from a commercial, or an ad somewhere small that you haven't noticed. Hell she may have picked it up from Boo Berry cereal.

When my daughter was about that age she would tell us that someone in her room would talk to her at night. She seemed really spooked by it. We would just tell her she was dreaming, she would tell us she wasn't sleeping though. It was really creepy. luckily it has stopped.

She says they come in through the door handle or "eat the door handle". It seems to be a singular entity as far as I can figure. She says the ghost is her friend and wants to play with her.
remember the nightmare thread a few weeks ago?

That's just it. He had never been by there. This road was not on nor normal driving circles. And I highly doubt he'd made any connection since all he knew is my parents were "in heaven". We'd never told him how they got there, much less where it happened.
