Seriously, I understand parents liking the idea of having one sex over the other, but at the end of the day does it REALLY matter? As long as it is a healthy baby, who cares if it is a boy or girl? Are you going to love him/her more or less one way or the other?

Yes. Most parents will say they love their kids equally but they don't. Our son is WAY cooler than our daughter and honestly we've treated him better because of it

Nah it wouldn't have mattered to me that much I guess, as long as she liked to fish and build stuff. Frick playing with dolls.

I wouldn't care either way. I would just be so thrilled and grateful I was having a baby.

Which surprised me because I figured most women wanted a little girl. That doesn't seem to be the case.

Women don't want the competition.

I'm pretty close to this, but my girl was first.

Boy is the correct answer

With a boy, you only have one pecker to worry about

With a girl, you have a world of them to worry about

Well he comes here like PJ asking 'but does it REALLY' matter and expounding about loving the kid rather way, I mean wtf? No one even hinted anything in that realm.

Healthy baby both times.

Had 1 boy and 1 girl.

Happy both times.

I have two daughters and they have been bright, fun and full of personality. Oldest is 13 and not a problem at all. The boy is actually the most annoying.

But he has the most potential in life. We all know this.

I wanted my wife to just swallow all my children, she didn't. Apparently the ring around her finger has the power to reject such requests. people told me, but I refused to believe....I was young and naive. Dammit!

We got lucky and that's how it played it out.

I don't know. My oldest daughter is really bright and a serious student. Far more mature at 13 than I was at 16. She's also fairly athletic. I was worried about having a daughter and I can recall all the tricks and bullshite girls my age use to pull on their parents so I'm always on the lookout, but it's been smooth sailing.

Like good enough to make it all the way to the WNBA one day and make the big money?
