My wife's vehicle's radio lights up but no volume when on. Also notice that blinker lights work but no clicking when blinking. What could be the problem? Already looked at fuses and they are good

make sure the blinker fluid is full and make sure the radio hasnt expired. they need to be changed semi-regularly or the sound will go out.

Not a mechanic, but sounds like a solenoid issue.

There are still cars that "click"?

Is she driving an '87 Taurus?

my chevrolet did the same thing, the blinkers "clicking" wouldnt sound off and every now and then the door speakers would go out with only the tweeters tweeting. was a loose ground under the dash.

Check the relays. The clicking sound is from a relay next to fuses.

Our old Mazda had issues with the radio controls. When we changed the battery, it reset everything on the radio and it has worked great ever since.

Try disconnecting the battery lead for a few minutes and see if the radio returns to normal.

Blinkers are controlled by a relay.
