Leaf mold is white and is good for the soil I wouldn't do anything....

Dixie chopper sucks. I have a Scag tiger cat 60" with 32hp Kawasaki engine and love it. Cuts much better than a Dixie chopper. Has about 3000 hours with no problems...

Engage the choke while it's sputtering. If it helps it's lean. If makes worse it's rich. Check intake boot for air leak. Pretty common on those bikes...
