Maybe I will, maybe I will.....
Was feeling kinda nihilistic and depressed this morning already and this stupid "riddle" just pushed me over the edge. I'm about to blow up my apartment and start a fight club.

This isn't an intelligence test, its a test of observational skills.
There is a block between 5 and 2 so the answer is easily 5 (unless the water is pouring at a rate faster than the connection between 1 and 5 can handle).

Missing info required to solve this problem:
1. how fast is the water coming out of the faucet?
2. How big is the pipe that transfers water from bin 1 to bin 5?
3. Volume of bins 1 and 5
4. height of pipe relative to bottom of bin 1

And you're talking about it? Yeesh! What a rule breaker.

How fast is the water flowing?
I'm saying 1.

A few things you need to assume to solve:
-assume frictionless flow, so the velocity of the water doesn't matter
-assume each bin has equal volume and each tube has equal length and area
-assume that life is meaningless and embrace the great uncaring void that is existence

I was expecting a babe thread. Instead I get other leaky faucets. Shame.
