30 min rule is broscience. your body is repairing / recovery mode for as long as it takes to recover. i work out first thing in the morning and generally don't eat a good protein until lunch which is generally about 1pm for me. so about 3-4 hours.
Many people including myself train fasted.
and i gurantee you that you don't get as good of a workout as i do. i can't make it through a workout without a powerade.
this is tomororw
Wind sprints HIIT x 20 (once a week, tomororw is the day) as soon as i wake up in the morning.. about 7am
30 mintues LIIT warm up before gym about 8:15am
Bench Press5 x 5 90% max
Military Press 5 x 5 90% x max
Incline Barbell 5 x 5 90% x max
Iso Curles 5 x 5 90% x max
Dips 8 x 10 90% x max
swim x 45-60 minutes (straight laps)
generally 2 bananas and a powerade will get me through. then i go home and eat breakfast.
dumbasses who work on a fasted stomach are missing the forest in the trees. You want the workout to be be as hard as you can. i feel my workouts well into the afternoon.
BTW for the "i'm trying to lose weight i need to eat 1500-2000 cals a day".. i'm easily sub 10% body fat and will eat you out of house and home.. about 3500-4000 when i am not cutting weight a day. i have to get the energy /replentish the above. i have rock hard abs.
