Both of my daughter's bedroom (side-by-side, separate breakers) keep flipping their respective breaker on electrical panel.
What is the process for elimination to figure which outlet is doing it?
I ask, because as soon as I reset the breaker, it immediately flips again. I've already had to reset the breaker 3 times this morning, within a 5 minute period.

Unplug the flat irons.

If they are using appliances that draw a lot of amps(hair dryers, curling irons, flat irons, clothes irons) those arc fault breakers trip with the quickness.

No flat irons or hair dryers (they're 7 and 10 years old). Minimal outlets being used except for the normal stuff ... TV, night light, clocks, etc.
Appears to be happening more when lights are turned on.

So, two separate breakers in the panel are tripping?
Are they side by side? If so, what is across from them? As others have said, unplug as much as you can.

Haven't installed anything since house was built 7 years ago. Everything is "original."

could be a loose wire in light switch , check all outlets that have somethin plugged into them , make sure they are plugged in correctly (pushed all the way in )
The kids touch the light switches all the time so I would check that out ..
It's either a loose wire somewhere in the circuit or bad breaker or drawing too much power , that's all it can be .....

unplug everything turn all lights and fans off and try again, if it still trips you have a short somewhere.

Not necessarily, if it's not tripping right away it's more likely a loose connection or bad breaker .

Why does everyone say millenials should just become electricians because no one wants to fix anything, but the unions don't pay apprentices well and it takes five years to just become a journeyman which still makes like only 20 an hour? Do you need to have your own company?

What state you live in , no Union journeyman I know only makes 20 an hour ....

Then you will have to take apart each outlet, light switch, and light to verify that everything is still tight and working correctly. I've had this happen but it was a new install where I stripped too much wire away and it was shorting out on the ground when I pushed all the wires back. Easy to find since I had just done the outlet and I knew it had to be the cause.

He said breaker trips immediately. Thats not a loose connection. If two breakers are tripping however. Could be bad connection on the buss, are the breakers hot or warm ?

I just noticed you said two breakers are tripping , if you can check your meter and panel connections to make sure everything is tight ....
Are those two breakers the only arc fault breakers in that panel ....
