"Orlando" Wouldn't Happen In My Town

I honestly believe that a majority of people where I live carry at all times. Obviously, we have no gay bars (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I think if there is ever an active shooter situation in my town, the perpetrator will be fired upon quickly. How about where you live?

Depends on the part of town. If he doesn't in a movie theater idk. Probably at least one person in there workgroup m would have a concealed weapon though.

You can't carry in bars, in most States. Not sure it would matter.

You can carry in bars in MS if you have an "enhanced" conceal carry. With that, the only places you cannot carry is prisons/jails, police stations, court rooms when they're in session, and places of nuisance. Federal laws must be followed, but there is no federal law against guns in bars to my knowledge. The state law specifically allows for carry in schools/campuses with enhanced carry, but I'm pretty sure that conflicts with federal law.

Florida and specifically the Orlando area have a high population of people who carry.
Downtown has a lower population because of the area and late at night around the bar scene, very few are going to be carrying.
You cannot carry in any place that serves alcohol and the BAL is 0.0 if you carry.

Every situation is different, you don't know that. Florida probably isn't very different from your town.
