Some of them take their own test and avoid the US medical licensing exam

Are you an MD? That's what a physician is

After a long slumber, feels good to be back on here. Fired up my basement Mac in Oakdale. Ready to roll.
DO, OD, etc.
Go to medical school to practice Medicine. It makes good sense

D.O.s are treated the same as M.D.s. They are all scattered in the same residencies. They aren't the same as nurse practitioners, optometrists , chiropractors or these goofball psychologists who are allowed to prescribe in LA.
That said, two medical schools in a state this size are enough.

Add to that going to business to practice Business. The business practices of physician's offices are often abysmal.

They are not treated the same. Apply to residency and watch the process. It's not the same thing a DO is not an MD. They have fought their way legally into our turf but they are not equivalent in education or knowledge

Man, you sound like a joy to be around.
So if a DO is accepted too and completes an allopathic residency what do you call them?
The majority of osteopathic students are going into internal med/family medicine. Not like there is a shortage of those positions.

You call them a graduate of an osteopathic school but they are not a physician

Do you have any idea what percentage of practicing DO's actually use OMM once they finish school?
I'm not a DO, but I think it's hilarious to claim their not physicians.
By your username I can see you consider yourself quite important.
