I had a temp employee on an unusual project that required someone with an architectural drafting background. He was from Iraq and was actually a brilliant architect but his background was having issues being recognized in the US. He had been doing baggage handling at Bush prior to being assigned to my office. When I realized what he had sacrificed for his children, I kept him on for 6 months even though I didn't need him.....project made so much money it was easy to do.
He asked if I'd give him recs afterwards, which I did glowingly, and he finally found a really good position with CB&I .
There are many folks out there who fit this commercial........wonderful people
