That's ridiculous. There should be some culpability for damages when you're drunk on a float throwing packs of beads at people.

No reason why anybody should be threatened with injury by drunks on floats.

I agree with him. Why should you be allowed to hurt people because you're on a float and drunk?

Bitch, I'm not talkin about people tossing beads.

I'm talking about people who launch packs of beads at their friends, miss, and hit innocent folks next to them.

Lobbing beads never hurt anyone. That's not what this thread is about.

It was one of my favorite ways to get beads when I used to go to parades. I'd be toward the back and keep my back to the parade. Of course, a drunk/fool at least once in few floats would try to smack me with a bag of beads. If I snatched it out, I would hold it toward the douche who tried to hit me (occasionally with a middle finger raised).

Some riders are jerks. Some are just trying to get lots of beads out. Like life, doing fun things involves risks.

I got drilled by a pack today. A buddy chunked em at me, and it hurt like a mother. I looked away before he threw them.

It didn't bother me cause he had made eye contact prior, but if was sitting watching a parade and caught one in my face I would be pissed. That shir hurt,

Anyone saying it is just collateral damage is a fool

Exactly. It's not a joke and this isn't a troll.
You're prolly a grown man. Imagine what this would do to an older lady.

It's gotta stop.

I don't understand what's fun about trying to hurt folks. Or what's fun about literally throwing thousands of your own dollars away

ALWAYS hold your hands up IN FRONT of your child when a float is passing, ALWAYS.

UH, NO. Just like going to a golf tournament or a baseball game and getting hit. You assume a risk when you go.
