That area has had a really bad month. The shooting that killed two people, the cop firing at a suspect yesterday, and now another body being dropped. I wish LSU could actually do something about it

That area has had about a bad 15 years starting with the Katrina-induced housing crisis screwing up the mix of residents in the apartments.

I know it hasn't been a good area for a while but they haven't had a recorded murder there in years, this is the third homicide in 3 weeks

Passed by the scene of the crime at about 3:15 on my way to work. Because the Brightside and Nicholson intersection is closed. I figured something pretty bad had happened saw about 12 cops cars and they were setting up lights everywhere. I wish they would do something about that area it butts up to some nicer places, and the crime is starting to spill over.
