Nobody hooked up with TD (that I remember), but some of the girls did send him care packages I believe (and maybe pics).

His story started falling apart when he announced his "promotion" to Navy Captain (at 30 years old). One of his best was asking the OT what kind of speakers he could mount on his jeep to scare the bad guys off when they went into an occupied village.
