Heard theres been a oil refinery explosion in Calcasieu parish. Dont see anything on the internet ab it.

This was within the last hour. Friend was coming in from fishing. Thinks may have been a lightning strike that caused it?

Saw a video just now of a fire at the calcasieu refining company… shelter in place of a five mile radius near tank farm road

A lightning strike caused a fire in Hackberry at a similar facility last month, so quite possible

Can confirm. Massive fire.
Lightning struck the plant. I’m out fishing on big lake right now. Watched it happen. Heard the explosion over the water.
