Pregnant plus-size model Tess Holliday said she can be healthy and overweight as she appeared via video link on today's This Morning.

The size 26 (US size 22) 30-year-old, who is expecting her second child in June, said people shouldn't judge how healthy she is based on her appearance.

When This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford asked how Tess felt about critics who say she isn't a good role model because she's overweight, she said: 'I will agree to disagree because I do believe health is not an indicator of size.'

Tess - who yesterday hit back at critics who said her weight wasn't healthy for her baby - added that her health should not concern anyone else.

She said: 'Our body's are our business, if I am unhealthy in 20 years that is my business. I guess I should be flattered people around the world are worried about my health, but I am happy and healthy.'

Biology, genetics, physics, math, these are all biased systems made by the patriarchy to marginalize people of girth. The truth is that fat is beautiful.

As long as she pays for her own healthcare, she's right.

Pregnant plus-size model

I miss the days when someone would say "I'm dating a model" and it was usually an OT 8-10. Now everyone's a model because it's not fair for someone fat and ugly to not have the opportunity.
