I will be visiting the area to spend time with family starting this weekend. Do y'all have any suggestions for good running trails around Covington or Mandeville? Thanks!

Baw, there is a trail that goes from Mandeville to Covington. Just google it.

Eta: did the work for you. Enjoy. LINK

There's Old Spanish Trail in Slidell.

Watch out for the hidden school zone.

Running along the lakefront in old Mandeville is pretty nice.

The St. Tammany Trace is good, but only technically open between sunrise and sundown. They don't want hoodlums on it after dark.

Park at the west end of the lakefront in mandeville. Head east down the lakefront until you have to take a left (north). Continue north until you hit the trace. Take a right (east) on the trace. Super safe and the best route.

Varsity Sports is in old Mandeville and they have a few measured out routes if your looking for a 5k or 10k. They mostly run around there though, lakefront/old Mandeville area.
