"We have the airport in Pyongyang, and we just kind of fly in circles until the people on board think we just flew them out of the country"

Hell that looks like a 3 star airline to me. I don't care how many stars they claim as long as I arrive alive.

Fruck yat!
An Ilyushin Il-18? Nope, nope, nope, nope.....
The last one rolled off the factory floor in 1978. It's been maintained since by Soviets and/or ChiComs and/or North Koreans.
NATO called it a Coot.
I'd call it a Flying Mortuary.

Still better looking stewardesses than a lot of domestic airlines.
Asiana and Korean Air stewardesses
And I'd actually like to fly in that plane. Looks... Retro.

Why do I hear that song " me so horny " playing in my head now

Well you probably don't have to worry about fatties sitting next to you, on top of the fact that airport food doesn't even look that bad. I mean that portion size could feed like 5-maybe even 10-North Korean citizens. If they were to play Team America on vcr, we might just be talking 2* here.

Because you're racist?

I occasionally venture over to the OT, and every time I read a thread he posts something sexual
Not that I care, just an observation

You do realize the USAF flies B-52's far older than this?

Are those commercial B-52s?

Better watch out, they might hack TD now and threaten all of us for posting these pictures

Think of who is maintaining them though.

Frankly, I'm a bit jealous.
1. Look at those attractive Flight Attendants (I bet you can still call them stewardesses)
2. Look at all those open seats, a guy could really stretch out in there.
3. Judging by that airport... No lines.

Sure. But the age itself is mostly irrelevant. There are DC-3's still in active commercial service today.

I think I'm on pretty safe ground to assume the USAF's resources, policies and procedures for long-term maintenance of aircraft would compare favorably to the domestic North Korean airline.
But to answer your question, yes, I knew that some of our B-52 fleet was from the '60s if not earlier.

That looks like the most spacious bathroom I've ever seen on an airplane.
