9th ward and Central City probably completely redone. Lakeview and Uptown, no chance.

My streets will still be atrocious. Although I live in a slightly more mixed area so maybe there's a shot.

Fixed.

The conditions of the roadways are a direct result of an existential threat to the city.

Yep, got a feeling a lot of road contractors and parish/state authorities will be under Federal indictment in about 5 years.

Pot holes are a gateway street problem. Crack kills as well.

Drug undercarriage is a major problem in NOLA.

$2 Billion is a Band-Aid, we are selling our birthright for a mess of pottage.

I hope they fix Lakeview.

Ya'll pay some of the highest property tax. You deserve it.

Are those old stories about the mob in NO had the contracts for roads in the city; and cut the cement with shite that would never last? Is that true you think?

That's $1.2B to DPW for roads and storm drainage under 36" in diameter and $800M to S&WB for sewer and water mains.
