Lula is committed to an enjoyable dining experience for all patrons. We have received questions about an incident that occurred at Lula Restaurant Distillery Tuesday evening. The police were called after three disruptive, adult patrons engaged with another table of patrons, and one of the female owners of Lula. No person or group was escorted off of the property. There were no physical altercations. The police were not called because of anyone's attire. No person or group was asked or forced to leave by management, because of their attire. No patrons were denied service. The patrons involved paid their bill, tipped their waiter, and left after finishing their meal. To clarify Lula’s actions and response, the Lula team called the police during the verbal altercation to ensure the safety of our patrons. The police arrived outside the restaurant as the group was leaving. Dining is a joy, especially in New Orleans, and Lula values each and every one of its customers. We would like to apologize to all of our patrons who were dining with us at the time, our longtime customers, and particularly to any person who feels that Lula discriminated against them based on their attire or race. We are working with our team, including management and ownership, to determine what should have been done differently and to ensure an enjoyable restaurant and dining environment for everyone.

Let’s hope there was an automatic 20% gratuity added for 20 separate checks. The servers worst nightmare came true when all those people arrived at separate times.

I’ve never met anyone who actually returned there to eat and drink after visiting the first time.
I have.
Not sure what axe you have to grind but I've been there many times. The happy hour drinks and apps are solid. As well as the brunch. The gin, vodka, and rum they put out from the distillery are pretty good as well.
There are certainly many many far worse places to eat along St Charles alone, much less the rest of the city.

I was waiting for someone to make an account and start defending them but so far the OT is quietly united on the trash gonna trash front. I don't know if I feel proud or disappointed.

Yeah I’ve been there a few times. I know Erin and her husband. They are good people. She’s from DVill so she knows what ghetto is.
They stayed open all during the pandemic selling food and even started making their own hand sanitizer and giving it away. Of course the restaurant and bar was closed but everything was curbside.
I don’t know the entire story but I can’t imagine Erin going off in a derogatory manner unless they provoked her which I’m sure there’s more to the story.
BTW, their vodka sucks. I was given free bottles and still can’t drink it
Food isn’t that bad. Isn’t great but they are good people

I see her husband opted for the Lebron fade.
