Discuss. Emphasis on roominess, comfort, reliability. Thanks!

The Tuscon gives you more bang for your buck, but overall they're very similar. Hyundai has some more interesting powertrain options, including a turbo motor that's actually pretty damn strong, I've driven a 2016. My vote would go Hyundai. The Rogue is too boring.

My wife has a Santa Fe with the third row seat. Overall it's been a very nice vehicle the 2 years we've had it. Good but of room in the first 2 rows of seats. 3rd row is for small frame people. It has good power, we have the V-6 and it hasn't given us any problems.

The only 2 things I don't like about driving it..... The arm rest is a little narrow and the voice recognition never understands me. Other than that, no complaints.

We bought a Tuscon 4 years ago for my wife. Very reliable. She doesn't take care of it for shite. Went 20,000 miles without an oil change or tire rotation one time. Has close to 80k miles on it. Never had any problems. Resale values usually suck, but outside of that......very solid car.

Owned a 2008 Rogue SL first year model.
8 years 140K miles, only issue was failed CVT at 72K, it was replaced and had car back in 3 days.
Pulled my 16ft aluminium boat with it (1500lbs)which was the capacity of this model. Did have to change leaky rear shocks..
2 sets front brakes, 3 sets of rear brakes, 3 sets of tires. would recommend.

Upgrade to the Santa Fe Sport - drove one around Colorado for a month and it was great. It may be my next vehicle .
