I have stayed at a few hotels in NO that were VERY nice.....the Dauphine Orleans Hotel was NOT one of them!

Le Richelieu is my hotel of choice. Windows that open and self parking.

Got a good rate at LePavillion for Memorial Day weekend.

I'd go there depending on when you are looking to stay

I like staying at The Roosevelt, esp the Waldorf suite.

I always like the Hotel Mazarin...very nice place that has a feel unlike any other place I have ever stayed...

If you like smaller spots, I'd try Loft 523. It's a boutique hotel that's walking distance from the Quarter.
