A smoking ban (either state or local) has been enacted covering all bars and restaurants in each of the 60 most populated cities in the United States except these 16: Arlington, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Jacksonville, Memphis, Miami, Las Vegas, Nashville, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Tampa, Tulsa, and Virginia Beach.[3][4]

So its banned but the article stated that casinos were exempt. That's odd quote: While smoking would be allowed at cigar bars, hookah bars, outdoor areas of bars, restaurants, casinos and electronic smoking device businesses.

Is that what I said? No. There are lots of laws I don't agree with. At least I personally benefit from this one.
uh yes
you said you do not believe that this law is too much of an overreach from the government in the other thread...

So any bar that wants to keep smoking can just stick a cigar box or hookah in the corner and carry on as normal?

Next up they will pass a law you can't consume alcohol past midnight.
New Orleans isn't supposed to follow what the rest of the US does. That's why it's New Orleans. frick this law.

Well that was already exempt. I take it they just included that incase Harrahs decided to build something outdoors. I did miss the outdoors portion of that sentence though.

guessing it will be done like how they separated restaurants and bars before...% of sales, insurance, etc
*ETA: maybe they'll just deny liquor licenses to these places
