Looking for an Air BnB for New Orleans for this fall. Found one but have no idea what part of town. I know it’s New Orleans but can somebody tell me if this is just normal bad New Orleans area or like you will definitely get shanked New Orleans neighborhood. It is a few blocks off of Stars and Stripes boulevard. It is between Danube road and sheepshead st

Anything in New Orleans East is going to be a hard no baw. The east is where a majority of the murders, carjackings, and general crime occur.

I can’t advise you enough to not stay in that area.

If you're looking for a short ride to hookers and drug sales, you picked a good spot. The good news is with the shrinking police force, you probably won't get pinched! Just don't get hit at an intersection when they run the lights.

I circled the safest area to stay on a trip to New Orleans. But I wouldn’t move here. Very dangerous place to live full time.

I wouldn’t even stop for gas in the East.

I know of an "ABNB" in NO that you can't find listed anywhere. Do you have a specific date? If so, let me know, I can check and if its clear then I can link you up.

That huge firehouse in the Bywater on Airbnb is really cool. I went to a party there. I think it's like $600 a night but it's like 5 or 6 bedrooms and an entire fire house.

damn $1350 a night now.

Absolutely zero reason for someone from out of town to stay there. Get a damn hotel instead

No bullshite, this was years ago but this girl from twitter, who was from North Carolina. We just started bullshite on there one day. At some point she DM'd me telling me how her and her boyfriend were going to New Orleans because the Hornets were playing the Pelicans in NO. They found a place in Algiers and since I was from Louisiana she wanted to know if I was familiar with the area and if so was it a good area.

I told her its not a good area especially if you are not familiar because you could go from a bad to worse area by accidently going down the wrong street.

This bitch responded with "Are you saying that just because its all black people? Then goes on to tell me that just because its a majority black area doesn't mean they are all criminals.

I told her that the most dangerous places in New Orleans are majority black areas, thats just facts. And if me telling facts makes me racist then I guess I am racist. She took that as me saying I was racist and told me to frick off. After that I always wonder how many people from other areas think "its not that bad, as long as we keep to ourself we will be fine".. Then they get to New Orleans and get to the bad area the booked to stay and realized the fricked up.

As long as you stay away from NO East and HollyGrove, you’re probably okay. Downtown isn’t great, but mostly keep to yourself. Uptown is cool.
