Per Fox 8 news last night. 75% of these murders unsolved.

So by my math, the statues killed 131 people (give or take, considering the other 44 killers might've had multiple victims).

The arrests are generally being made in fluff cases that don't require any extensive investigation (for example, man murders SO, waits for the cops).
Most of the 75% will remain unsolved.
I don't give a shite about the statues but I hate politicians who pander and engage in symbolism while ignoring the real problems that their administration or constituents face.

I remember how happy everyone was when we got a white mayor. The city was buzzing from the Saints SB and everything looked great. Then Mitch started messing with the taxi cabs with all these new regulations and it's been down hill ever since.

Do New Orleanians realize that their city is categorized (although better and more enticing) with Memphis, Baltimore, and St. Louis? It's full of crime, poverty, decrepit infrastructure, and corruption. No different than Memphis, St. Louis, and Baltimore.
However, New Orleans and the French Quarter have enough appeal to still attract tourists for a visit.

The reason they can't solve anything is the statues put the word on the street that if you snitch on your homey, the statues will bust a cap in yo' arse.
