New mid-engine Corvette Zora (possibly a Cadillac)

Not a Corvette fan, never saw myself buying one, but the new Z8/Zora rumored to be brought to market has me re-thinking that.
Rumored to start at $65k
Mid-engine, turbo-charged V8 possible.
There is a less likely chance this is a Cadillac, but that rumor is out there too.

It is kind of weird how many cars coming out look a lot like the ones I owned as little metal cars in the early 90s that were supposed to be "futuristic."

I'm inclined to believe Car and Driver that has the starting price much higher, but nonetheless there are multiple publications putting the expected starting between 65 and 95.

Corvette (esp the Z06) has been a great sports car for several generations now. They've been talking about making it mid engined for at least a decade.

Tokyo Auto show has been rumored to also be the event where Japan Sports cars make their comeback akin to the takeover in the 90's.
Pretty much im going to wind up buying something from that group.

The car is definitely real and it certainly seems to be a mid-engine. The confusion is from them selling the Z08 and "Zora" side by side, which seems a little strange. That is what has led the rumors, and because Cadillac has had several mid-engine concepts.

65g for that type of build? I'm sure the ac button paint will scratch off or lights will burn out in 7000 miles.

Could be a concept car. Not sure. Like I said, I'll believe it when I see it.
