this pains me. i loved their beer. my wife just showed me this and i was hoping it was bs.

sadly, it’s not.

Wokeness

quote:

To show what the future of beer could look like if climate change continues unchecked, we brewed up Torched Earth Ale. This beer uses the kind of ingredients that would be available in a climate-ravaged future including: smoke-tainted water, drought-resistant grains, shelf-stable extracts and dandelion weeds. While it’s technically beer, it’s not great.

You really thought a craft brewery wasn’t woke to begin with?

Sounds like you need to wake up

More CO2 and warmer temperatures are actually great for agriculture. What are these frickers thinking?

One experimental beer is certainly a good reason to abandon a brewery you say you love.

The beer industry (especially local craft breweries) are filled with wokeys.

It's sad to see. I'm in the industry and fight back against this shite all the time.

It's fun to watch heads explode when I do.

Think of all the siberian, canadian and greenland farmland that would become viable with global warming.

equating climate change with wokeness is the same thing as liberals equating abortion with gun control.

You're doing the same thing.

Depriving yourself of something you like will surely teach them.

is climate change woke? because I've never associated climate change with "wokeness"

seems like some of y'all are starting to over use that word to the point where its going to lose its meaning, kinda like y'all do with everything

I don't find a single one of their beers can stand out in the vast market of craft beer, nowadays. I'm not sure what brewing another shitty beer is gonna do for their company.

Yes, because his problem is that they made a beer that doesn’t taste great

Don't know about wokeness, but you can spot their virtues from Neptune. And isn't that what really matters?

oh not denying its virtue signaling, that's obvious

just wasn't sure it fit into the "woke" category
