Never seen a Shrew before. Also didnt know they were venemous. Will cause a painful bite to larger animals but can kill small animals.

I stomped it. Thought it was a small rat or mouse. Then I saw the short tail and got curious and googled. Had no idea there where other venemous animals besides the Platypus.

A poster's little sis hid a baby nutria rat in her closet. Nursed it back to health. Poster told the parents, we chipped in to build an enclosure (this was on Christmas Eve), baby nutria choked to death on newspapers and magazines the mom put in the habitat. Long live Tanden.

I saw one of those outside my house a couple of years ago. had absolutely no idea what it was. It ran away before I was able to catch it. Had no idea it was venomous.
