It always amazes me how people are clueless on how to communicate with their neighbors.

It amazes me how many inconsiderate neighbors give not a frick about their barking nuisances.

Apparently, I'm not the only one bothered as another neighbor just blew an air horn into her yard.

I wouldn't worry about it. This guy has the situation under control.

They clearly didn't put much thought into it.

You need to read what the whoel post said.... The kid's father got the dog for the kid and dropped it off with him at his mom's house. Obviously Dad DID think about this and he played it very well. I'm betting for Xmas, the kid gets a drum set for Mom's house. :)

its possible that they do give a frick, but maybe they are waiting for someone to complain before doing something

they could think that the neighbors can't hear it....which is probably dumb to think, but highly possible

In this day and age, inconsiderate people no longer amaze me. They are everywhere.

In the case of my neighbor, she told the cops she is partially deaf after I called the cops after being woken up repeatedly at 3 am by her yip dog. Blamed her kids for not caring about their dog.

Other times when the cops have been dispatched, they pretend they aren't home.

It's been quiet for a while now, haven't heard a peep in months.

Still piss me off though because her blackberry bushes and roses grow through my fence.

I have had two beagles over the past 10 years (including a 1 y/o beagle now)....Neither one of them were "barkers" or "howlers"...in fact both were pretty quiet.

If you call the cops without talking to your neighbor first, you're a dick.

Depends on the neighbor.

How about I move behind your house and park a yip dog 30 feet from your bedroom window at 3 am?

I'm sure you'd react calmly and rationally at 3 am.

I'd go talk to the mom and see what you two can figure out about the dog. Odds are she doesn't like the barking either.

id wait until the morning and say something instead of calling the cops for something stupid like that. Calling the cops over a dog barking wouldn't even cross my mind 1. the cops are likely to shoot you or the dog, 2. they should be responding to more urgent calls than a dog barking.

This.

Beagles are very difficult dogs. You don't just get a Beagle and throw it in the house/yard. Blows my mind how people waste money on full-blooded animals without doing research.
