Had an interstate battery but had to replace it twice. Its been the biggest pain. Yes, everything else tests fine. What brand do you recommend? I've come to the conclusion that interstate is no better than duralast.

I have always had good luck with batteries from Sears...of course, I don't think we have a sears in the area any more, so that may be over with...

I recommend the cheapest shite there is. I do this and get 4-5 years every time.

Of course i am an ot baller so i have 5 cars, 3 boats, 2 motorhomes needing batteries.

I get the Duralst Gold from Autozone. They will keep track of your warranty based on phone number and you get a free exchange if it goes dead in 3 yrs or prorated after that.

I've had one last 5 years in one car.

This hot climate/city driving is hard on batteries. If you get 4-5 yrs you are doing good IMHO.

Bingo.

They'll even send a young girl outside to install it for you.

Or you can change it yourself while she humps your leg.

Be careful you don't get accused of buying a battery to make a bomb.

If you have AAA buying their battery is the easiest thing to do since they come out to you and the warranty is pretty good. No clue how the price compares.

Considering your poli leanings and friendship with Kim W - don't go with Energizer as Jeb wants to be called that.

All joking aside, as stated just about any battery sold by a reputable company should perform as intended.

I got a AGM battery from Sam's last time I got a battery. A little extra money but worth it. And there are only 2-3 battery manufactures in the US. So shop on price IMO.

Sear's Platinum. Re-badged Deka AGM. Have two in my trucks, one I've only had a few years but doesn't blink at single digit temps. The other is more than 10 years old and cranks like new.
