I need a new garbage disposal. What's the OT baller disposal of choice? I will settle for nothing less than the ballingist garbage disposal.

I really don't know, but I know my parents have had an Insinkerator for the last 15 years that still works like when they got it.

EDIT: I tested it yesterday when I was at their house because I was like no way this thing still works. Sure enough, it came on.

That doesn't sound very ballin. Maybe a little ballin' but definitely not the most ballinist ever.

Get a Waste King. Best disposal you can buy and the 1hp model comes with a lifetime warranty.

Waste King will chew up a car. It's a beast.

I just bought and installed the Waste King last month. Wasn't too difficult to do and it's quieter and FAR more powerful than my previous one.

Plus it's a hell of a deal for the amount of HP you get compared to others at like homedepot and such.

We just replaced ours with a Badger Insinkerstor 5. Works good fast and quiet

Remind me what is the point of a garbage disposal again? I have gone over 30 years without one and seem just fine

It helps with small foods to go down a drain better. We don't use ours for big stuff. I've had one forever and when ours broke its amazing how you miss being able to not worry about little things clogging the sink.

Grew up without one and never really understood the need. Then I had one. It's not necessary, but definitely nice. Don't have to worry about cleaning dishes out completely in the trash, especially pots and pans with stuck on food.

I had a 10 year old Kenmore and replaced it with a new Kenmore so I didn't have to change any piping underneath.

Make sure it's really broken. Most have a breaker on them. Reset the switch and use Allen wrench to rotate jam free

A million times this. Never had one growing up but had it once I was out on my own. Then we moved to Germany where they've never heard of them- oh, and they give you a tiny little trashcan that they only collect every TWO weeks. Like the size of your average office trashcan. Everyone flushed old food down the toilets there, and their sewer rat problem is supposedly unreal.

Garbage disposal was on my top 10 things I was excited about returning to the states for.

I got this one a few months ago. Works awesome, you don't need the really expensive ones. Went from a Kenmore to this and you will have to re route pipes but it was easy enough.

Buy a pig.

When he gets big, you have bacon.
