i know the one i went to they charged $5k. not sure if that is their normal price or if the bride got a friends and family discount.

Soul Survivors - great horn/funk/wedding band. Cool 1st set with jazz type shite - new orleans guy singing that stuff and playing sax

They are $4450 for the standard 3 hour reception.

I would love to see them, they really had a good show, good singers and musicians and kind of a "floor show" to go with it, I was sort of a groupie after the first time I saw them, I'd go see them whenever I heard they were playing anywhere nearby

I'm in the fortunate time of my life where everyone I know is already married and all the younger ones in the family won't be married for another 10+ years or more.

I bartend a lot of weddings, I'd say standard is 4 hours. I did one Saturday night that was 6, way to long. At the end of they only had about 15 people there.

According to the weez, they don’t play a lot of weddings. Wonder if we were at the same one?
