An investigation by the USA TODAY Network's Pacific Daily News unearthed allegations of decades of assault, manipulation and intimidation of children reared on this remote, predominantly Catholic U.S. territory.
Among the accusations: a boy fondled on the way to his grandmother’s burial, and another molested for the first time on his seventh birthday

Your thread title makes it seem like the church is accusing someone of sex abuse.
You're treating sentence structure like a priest treats a small boy.

Actually, they changed the name to drop a lawsuit that was made 20 years after Sullivan died. There's no proof of the claims other than what the accused made in the lawsuit.

The issue in the Church isn't really pedophilia per se, which is the sexual attraction to prepubescent children. This kid for instance was 15, not a child. The real issue is that it is chock a block full of disgusting deviant homosexuals.

I'm Catholic also. I hope to God it isn't. What the Church needs most is to purge itself of homosexuals. It's not like the clergy doesn't know who is and isn't queer I'm sure they all know. Problem is, the modern liberal humanist way of thinking about the gays has infected the Church to such a degree they're paralyzed from doing what has to be done. I mean can you imagine the outcry if the Church actually defrocked and excommunicated all suspected gays? It would be like the inquisition part II. I think that's why Benedict threw up his hands. I don't know what to think but I love the Church and I'd never leave.. but damn it's pure evil what was allowed to take hold over the years.

Homosexuality isn't the issue, God created ALL mankind. Pedophilia is the issue. Purge the church of the pediphiles (there is an extremely large number of them lurking IN ALL denominations of religion).
