if they are blocking a corner, make sure you use your turn signal.

whether some of these comments were in jest or not, and i'm not one to make light of running people over with a vehicle, but that just me, going back and reading them, and seeing how some people actually feel is just actually sad....
i honestly feel for them that don't see others as equally viable, simply as another human life... its just as sickening as when you read about far left supporters justifying violence because of "oppression" or whatever other reasoning they want to try to use to suit the narrative of the moment...
i've said many times before... how did we get to THIS point? we can't even talk to the each other in normal refrain... we ALL like to be right in our opinion/point of view, but how have we gotten so ultra defensive and pessimistic of anyone with an opposing one?

Is it your belief that driver yesterday was "exercising due care?"

The overwhelming majority of people aren't in the KKK or Occupy/Antifa/BLM. And they don't talk about it in real life.

uh yeah, there was no due care in what that a-hole did.
He went to hurt/kill/whatever to people in his way.

no, i know... but i honestly feel that now, more than anytime i can ever remember, people are firmly entrenched in their brand of ideology, and because of today's fast pace of information and social media, they feel vindicated in their justification for their beliefs due to the echo chambers they seem to seek out...
basically, everyone is doing a hell of a lot of talking, but no one wants to listen to the other side... there seems to be a slow eroding of respect for anyone and anything that is not in agreement with whatever position you have at the moment... i mean, i understand wanting to voice your opinion, but isn't there a better, classier, more tactful way to do it than what we are currently seeing?
and all the "you's" in the above, is just generalization, not you specifically... just in case you felt that way....

vocal, outward racism is often rare, depending on the location and situation... closeted racism, on all sides, from all groups, is very much still alive and thriving...

You sound really passionate about this, maybe you can use your talents and help the situation. Count them out some crazy pills

i am... i think it's time we start taking personal responsibility for our words and actions, ALL of us, while at the same time we should seek to progress as a society to make sure that people of all races, genders, etc, have the same opportunities for success... no more, no less... i want the best not only for me and my family, but for my neighbors down the street... and for you... and your neighbors...

i'd love to actually get into to the political arena, but my wife has many reservations... who knows... i may just get the wild hair and enter in some aspect anyway....

there isn't a pill for the type of crazy being displayed by the current polemic political/social/economic arena...

Did you see what happened to Reginald Denny when he stopped in a "protest area"?

What hypocrisy?
The faux outrage the alt-right shows when a Muslim terrorist uses a vehicle as a weapon . Yet when it is done in the name of white nationalism, they victim blame and make excuse for their Nazi brothers.

There have always been attention seeking assholes (as well as flat-out crazies) out there, but the web and 24 hour news channels now bombard you with images and exaggerated stories about their numbers.
You see pictures of a couple dozen (maybe a couple hundred) nitwits every several weeks, but the narrative makes it sound like a national crisis. There are over 320 million Americans. The overwhelming majority (like 99.998%) of us aren't radical nuts.
Settle down, chRxis-- don't get worked up by folks chasing clicks or ratings-- that would make you a mark.
