Threads like this expose the type of people we're dealing with on this site

as long as they “exercise due care.”
well that makes it easy. when frickheads are purposefully standing in the middle of the road at night, the care "due" is none.

Boner [ESTABLISHED]
All it takes is a few legal instances of dumbasses blocking the streets and losing a leg for them to disperse.

Good. Blocking roads has nothing to do with whatever you are fricking protesting. Let people get to work/the grocery store/pick up their kids.

That opens up pandora's box, so I disagree.

Yeah. If anything, it makes it much less likely that people will sympathize with your cause.

It looks like reversing back over them maybe frowned upon.

Peaceable assembly a right, driving a privilege... i see this not winning in any court.

There is no right to assemble on a road. It's even a criminal violation at least in Louisiana. As it should be.

You can't block highways to protest. That's not considered assembling peaceably.
That's why we've been locking them up.

Bill is most certainly not limited to highways, it says traffic... traffic could easily be constued as a parking lot for a permitted event.

I suggest you head to NC and protest it then. Let me know what road you will be on.

Legislated racism. We know who that's targeting. We understand the dog whistles

Southern states continue to implement regressive, 3rd world laws that aren't dissimilar than something you'd see in Iran or Syria.
Nice troll job NC.
