If only he weren't a felon nit allowed to possess a weapon, thus reads like the Salt Lake City underground right there. Mormons can't always be angels. But this guy gets no sympathy. He still makes subtle videos suggesting violence against other rappers in his garage in Utah. You are in Utah. You made it out. The need to "keep it real" is a dark cloud in the hip-hop and young black or poor communities.

He may have picked the wrong state to do this in.

A shining example of Baton Rouge and the culture that produced him. No doubt.

NBA YoungBoy

whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden

From now on he should be addressed as "Kentrell", frick this rapper name. He's a punk.

quote:

a rapper
That should suffice for fraud charges.

quote:

Jail records show that he was arrested for patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Seems like a simple violation right there. Put him in jail for his actual sentence. I'm sure he will be happy "singing" to his peers.

It really shows the cultural divide when this guy is (apparently) a hugely popular rapper, but most people over age 25 have never even heard of him.

That’s just the OT hardos trying to get their internet cred. I’m in my mid-30s and couldn’t tell you a single one of his songs or even what he sounds like, but it doesn’t take a deep dive to know that he’s one of the most popular rappers today and has been for a while now.

He (or one of his group) were posing as a doctor and calling in fake scripts to a bunch of different pharmacies. I’d guess Xanax

quote:

According to the affidavit, the Cache County Sheriff's Office began investigating Gaulden after he was identified as a suspect in the prescription fraud ring. The alleged scheme involved individuals calling in fraudulent prescriptions under the names of real doctors and using fake patient names and birthdates. Alleged associates of Gaulden would then pick up the prescriptions from various pharmacies.

Quite possibly the biggest rapper in the world for the past several years.

I don't think I have ever heard a song by him though.

I like hip hop.. I mean, I like all types of music including hip hop and I think his music is terrible.
