Nazi Heinrich Himmler switches between man and monster in newly discovered diary

"One day he starts with breakfast and a massage from his personal doctor, then he rings up his wife and daughter in the south of Germany and after that he decides to have 10 men killed or visits a concentration camp," Imoehl said.
Professor Nikolaus Katzer of the German Historical Institute (DHI) in Moscow said the diaries were not a forgery and the pages constitute "a document of shudderingly outstanding historical significance".

Funny, read the article, did they find him saying anything?

So he doesn't mention anything about it, but they say it happened based on what they "know happened"?
It's like finding Osama Bin Ladens Dairy and the entry on 9/11 says:
"Today was a nice day, fricked a goat that was given to me by one of my wive's FIL #winning"
and our media says "Bin Laden callously shows no guilt or hurt for killing 3,000 people in the 9/11 attacks"
maybe .....it didn't happen?

Another, perfectly known the exact words that came from his mouth...but dude was "gave a speech, they need better beer here". I hope we have actual audio, and not hearsay when we are "quoting" people. Otherwise it could be completely manufactured.

I don't really care about whether you are a holocaust denier, as some seem to be anxious to find out. But you do raise an interesting approach to the article.
There was not so much as a "man, frick dem Jews" in his diary? That would be something.

The Nazi were meth head freaks, deeply aligned with the Vril and Thule Society, AND BIG TIME INTO THE OCCULT. The more we know the more fricked up it is. The Black sun, even the swastika is an occult symbol. Th whole Master race theory is vril belief that they were descendants of Atlanteans.

It sounds like they found his daily planner more than they did a journal. That would account for the short notes on the day's events.

The reality is that he WAS a man. It's easy to portray the nazis, especially the leadership, as uncaring, unthinking monsters...but they were just people going through their lives.
Their lives just happened to be REALLY fricked up and involved truly horrifying consequences. But I think the demonization is just because it makes it easier for the rest of us to deal with it. Like...how could normal people do things like that? They must have been truly evil.

eta: I believe Rudolph Hess,Commandant at Alshawitz(sp) kept a very detailed diary of the day to day business of running a Death Camp..Also Adolph Eichman kept pretty accurate records of his Crimes against Humanity.
