Anyone here attempted to become a Navy Seal? If so, what caused you to fail or quit?

This is the OT. The question you meant to ask is there anyone who hasn't attempted.

Went to RSS and got hurt. I have several of colleagues who have been to BUDS. Others EOD, Dive, and SWCC. I'd say 90% of my friends who dropped on request from BUDS quit during boats on heads. Or, injuries from boats on heads. This is where boat teams start to argue and push weak people out.

I've heard from several people that this is the worst part. How much do those boats weigh empty?

Nobody here has passed BUDS. And if there are people here who passed, they're not going to say it. SEALs are a different people, they don't tell anything about who they are, even if you know who they are

I'm really not sure. Running in sand is probably the worst exercise I've ever participated in. We did beach runs at RSS with no weight and tennis shoes on and it was terrible. I can't imagine holding any weight over my head and being in bates.

I figured that, it's why I asked what caused them to drop out or fail.
