It's real. They do a lot of these things that never get air time because the 2 people can barly make 3 days. They tried to do one in Berwick and the people got eaten up by mosquitoes so bad they tapped out after one night.

yes its real, its really staged every step of the way lol
its as fake as wrestling but they can only do so much if its on TV so I guess its a half decent effort to be a real challenge to them to go through

Staged. Ever notice they are on the brink of dying, no food and then....wow, they come across a big snake. They ALWAYS come across food on the last segment. The editing guys are lazy. Mix it up a little. I guess it creates climax.

Fake. If you look up their Facebook profiles most of them list their occupations as actor. Also, the crazy chick who threw the supplies in the creek last year came out and said it was all scripted. Almost all reality shows are completely scripted.
